I won a backgammon game before i was declared the winner my apponent started a new game i was not credited gor?

there was no red wins posted which was me,my opponent somehow started a new game,i was not credited for the win.Same thing happened again tonight,when i refused to move,my opponent was credited to win the backgammon game,please explain.
