What material are board games made out of?

I am currently designing a board game and I need to figure out what drugs without prescription online kind of materials most board games are made out of. I think it’s cardboard, but I’m not completely sure.
I also know that it’s not like a cardboard box witch is why i wanted to know, because that leads me to think it’s not cardboard.
